CoA Relaxes BArch Eligibility Criteria, Apply BY 24 Jul

in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Council of Architecture, which conducts NATA for B.Arch admissions, has relaxed the eligibility criteria for B.Arch admissions in 2022-23 session. This relaxation was provided last year as well. 

Relaxed eligibility for 2022-23

“No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject.”
In normal course of things, it is required that the candidate scores minimum 50% marks in 10+2. But this condition has been removed for 2022-23.

NATA test dates
First test : 12 Jun 2022 
Second test : 7 Jul 2022 
Third test : 7 Aug 2022; Applications close on 24 Jul 2022

Scoring : Council will be conducting NATA 2022 thrice on different dates as computer-based examination. Candidates are allowed to appear for all the three tests. In case a candidate appears for 2 Tests, best of the 2 scores shall be the valid score and in the case of 3 attempts, valid score shall be average of the 2 best scores.

Result format 
The result sheet will display the following :
1. Marks obtained in the exam out of 200
(a) In case the candidate appears for more than one test, all scores received in the attempts will be displayed.
(b) In case a candidate appears for 2 Tests, best of the 2 scores shall be taken as the valid score and in the case of 3 attempts, valid score shall be taken as the average of the 2 best scores.
2. Qualified / Not Qualified

Qualifying marks for NATA is 75 marks out of 200
